Why AI is uncapped on every tier
The research loop is the product. If Alvio's morning brief, client deep-dives, and scanner queries run into a monthly cap, partners stop using them — and you lose the 10× value. So:
- Alvio Analytics queries (all scanner + ledger-metric lookups) run on our own infrastructure — scaled horizontally, priced into the tier, not metered per-query.
- LLM research runs are absorbed into your tier subscription. We track token consumption for billing audit and abuse detection — it does not count against your plan.
- External MCP calls (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Gmail writes) pass through the destination platform's rate limits — we throttle intelligently on your behalf so you never hit a 429.
- Autopilot playbooks that run nightly against your book are included in the tier — no per-run charges.
Common questions
Is AI usage actually metered?
No. On every tier, AI research runs, scanner queries, and advisor deep-dives are unlimited under fair use. We track usage internally for billing audit and abuse detection only — it does not count against your plan. The reason partners pay $10K/month is we remove cost anxiety from the research loop.
What counts as a "managed client"?
Any SMB whose ledger (Xero/Sage/QuickBooks) you have connected to Alvio for ongoing bookkeeping, compliance, or advisory work. Companies House lookups of prospect companies do not count.
What happens if I exceed my client ceiling?
We prompt you to upgrade at 90% of your ceiling. We never silently cut off access mid-month — you keep running, we reconcile at next billing cycle.
Do integrations count against the plan?
Integration connections are unlimited on every tier. The tier ceiling is on the number of managed client ledgers you aggregate across, not on how many apps you connect.
Does the reconciliation write-path cost extra?
No. Real ledger writes to Xero/Sage/QuickBooks (payment records, journal entries, bank reconciliation) are included in every tier. Rate-limited only by the destination platform's own API quotas (typically 60 req/min per tenant).
Can I cancel monthly?
Yes. Monthly billing is month-to-month; annual saves 10-17%. Data export is available on any cadence.
